Arrived to Romania, hear the Romanian language\u2026 that just blow my mind, because I didn\u2019t understand anything. Not even a word. How can you speak this language??<\/p>\n
For Estonians, like me, Romanian it\u2019s really hard language because there is no similarity with Estonian. Yes, I could know Italian or Spanish languages which are similar, but I know German and Russian and that is not helping me. At all. But there is also some similarity with Estonian and Romanian language\u2026 they are both just unbelievably hard to learn.<\/p>\n

Nici m\u0103car un cuv\u00e2nt. Cum s\u0103 vorbesc o asemenea limb\u0103?<\/p>\n Pentru estonieni, ca mine, rom\u00e2na e o limb\u0103 foarte grea deoarece nu se aseam\u0103n\u0103 cu estona. Dac\u0103 a\u0219 fi \u0219tiut italian\u0103 ori spaniol\u0103 care sunt asem\u0103n\u0103toare, dar eu \u0219tiu german\u0103 \u0219i rus\u0103 \u0219i asta nu m\u0103 ajut\u0103. Deloc. Exist\u0103 o singur\u0103 asem\u0103nare cu limba eston\u0103 \u0219i rom\u00e2n\u0103… ambele sunt foarte greu de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat.<\/p>\n I started Romanian from core.<\/p>\n My first word what I learned in Romania was \u201cgata\u201d. That word is just magnificent. Everybody understood that when its \u201cgata\u201d it is \u201cgata\u201d. Now I\u2019m just using Am \u00eenceput cu rom\u00e2na din miezul ei.<\/p>\n Primul cuv\u00e2nt \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat a fost\u00a0gata.\u00a0<\/em>Cuv\u00e2ntul \u0103sta e magnific. Toat\u0103 lumea \u00een\u021belege c\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd e gata<\/em> e gata.\u00a0<\/em>Acum folosesc cuv\u00e2ntul \u0103sta tot timpul. \u0218i \u0219tii ce… Voi lua acest cuv\u00e2nt cu mine \u00een Estonia \u0219i atunci toat\u0103 lumea va cunoa\u0219tea puterea cuv\u00e2ntului\u00a0gata<\/em>. O alt\u0103 propozi\u021bie pe care toat\u0103 lumea a zis c\u0103 ar trebui s\u0103 o \u0219tiu a fot\u00a0Sunt voluntar, nu am bani. <\/em>U\u0219or de re\u021binut… dar la \u00eenceput era chinez\u0103 pentru mine. Zi de zi am \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat tot mai mult, deoarece aveam lec\u021bii de om\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een fiecare s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103. Huh… a\u0219 zice. Acum casa noastr\u0103 de voluntari este plin\u0103 de semne care ne \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 cuvinte \u0219i cum s\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m. De asemenea \u00eenv\u0103\u021b mult \u0219i cu ajutorul aplica\u021biilor mobile. Acestea sunt foarte utile \u0219i folositoare pentru a \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba aceast\u0103 limb\u0103 rom\u00e2n\u0103, grea.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So where I\u2019m trying to speak my really bad Romanian — everywhere\u2026 but more in the schools, if I\u2019m hitchhiking or in the shop. Basic words and talking with your hands always helps\u2026 But people still understand you and they teach you even more Romanian \u2013 so I would say talking is good, because you learn a lot. So lets learn more Romanian \ud83d\ude42 I\u2019m always ready!<\/p>\n Prin urmare, unde \u00eencerc s\u0103 vorbesc limba rom\u00e2n\u0103… peste tot… dar cel mai adesea \u00een \u0219coli, dac\u0103 fac autostopul sau la magazin. Cuvinte de baz\u0103, precum \u0219i vorbitul cu m\u00e2inile ajut\u0103 \u00eentotdeauna… Oamenii te \u00een\u021beleg \u0219i te \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 chiar mai mult\u0103 rom\u00e2n\u0103 – vorbitul e bun, c\u0103ci \u00eenve\u021bi mai mult. Deci… fiecare zi e o noua zi \u0219i \u00een fiecare zi po\u021bi \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba un cuv\u00e2nt nou. that word all the time. And you know\u2026 I\u2019m taking that word with me in Estonia and then everybody is getting to know the power of the word \u201cGATA\u201d. Other sentence what everybody said that I have to know was \u201cSunt voluntar, nu am bani\u201d. Easy to remember\u2026 but in the beginning it was incredibly Chinese for me.
\nDay by day I started to learn more and more this language, because I had my Romanian lesson each week. Huh\u2026 I would say. Now our volunteers house is full on signs which are teaching us words and that\u2019s how we learn. Also I\u2019m learning a lot thanks to my mobile applications. This is really useful and handy for learning that hard Romanian language.<\/p>\n
\nSooo\u2026 every day is a new day and every day you can learn new word. My last word what I learned was \u201ciepure\u201d. But there is sooooo many words I can learn!<\/p>\n
