Dac\u0103 dori\u021bi s\u0103 citi\u021bi un post amuzant \u0219i \u00eencurajator, v\u0103 rog s\u0103 s\u0103ri\u021bi peste acesta. Acesta este despre abordarea rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 c\u00e2nd vine vorba de natur\u0103 \u00een general.<\/em><\/p>\n

Starting from the beginning: Bucharest. Weather welcomed me with temperatures around 35\u00b0C and Sorin, a cute, helpful employer from Curba de Cultura, with a broken van (the trunk was not opening). He he heee\u2026 To get luggage into a trunk was the very first little challenge. Definitely not the last one.<\/p>\n

\u00cencep\u00e2nd cu \u00eenceputul: Bucure\u0219ti. Vremea m-a \u00eent\u00e2mpinat cu temperaturi de 35\u00b0C \u0219i Sorin un angajat dr\u0103gu\u021bi \u0219i s\u0103ritor de la Curba de Cultur\u0103 cu o dubi\u021b\u0103 pu\u021bin defect\u0103 (nu se deschidea portbagajul). He he heee\u2026 S\u0103 punem bagajul \u00een portbagaj a fost o prim\u0103 mic\u0103 provocare. \u0218i nu ultima, cu siguran\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n

I have already written something about me<\/a>, you can read about my first expressions and experiences, and also about what happens in Romania when you go for a hike without a proper map<\/a>. But what you do not know is that I have been in Romania before. Last year I spent a week in the west part around Caransebes. I tasted amazing goat and sheep cheeses while drinking fresh milk and then enjoying the softness of cake made from urda<\/em>. But I also saw how many things might be improved here, and how much the country is trying to do something about it, too. Those little notions I would like to talk about a bit more, because they are one of many reasons why I decided to do my EVS here.<\/p>\n

Am scris deja c\u00e2te ceva despre mine<\/a>, \u0219i pute\u021bi afla despre primele mele expresii \u0219i experien\u021be \u0219i despre ce se poate \u00eent\u00e2mpla c\u00e2nd pleci \u00een drume\u021bie f\u0103r\u0103 a avea o hart\u0103<\/a> potrivit\u0103. Ceea ce nu \u0219ti\u021bi e c\u0103 eu am mai fost \u00een Rom\u00e2nia \u00eenainte. Anul trecut am petrecut o s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een partea de vest a \u021b\u0103rii, \u00een regiunea Caransebe\u0219ului. Am gustat br\u00e2nzeturi de capr\u0103 \u0219i oaie \u0219i am b\u0103ut lapte proasp\u0103t iar apoi am savurat prospe\u021bimea unei pr\u0103jituri cu urd\u0103. Dar am v\u0103zut de asemenea cum multe lucruri pot fi \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bite aici \u0219i c\u00e2t de mult \u021bara \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103 fac\u0103 ceva \u00een privin\u021ba asta. Despre aceste mici chestiuni a\u0219 dori s\u0103 vorbesc mai mult, deoarece ele reprezint\u0103 unul din multele motive pentru care am decis s\u0103 fac SEV-ul aici.<\/p>\n

The nature is not immortal, we, humans, are not immortal. And we, humans, are not helpless or powerless. It has been just one month since I had arrived, yet I have met tens of people involved in the process of change. There are associations convincing Romanians to spay dogs instead of making new stray dogs, to sort waste instead of burning it, and there are other working with young people and whole communities. Because it is family and youngster where we need to start, if we want to make (and see) the difference.<\/p>\n

Deoarece trebuie s\u0103 \u00eencepem cu tinerii \u0219i familiile acestora dac\u0103 vrem s\u0103 facem \u0219i s\u0103 vedem o schimbare.<\/p>\n

May be I am too keen of neatness, but really, is it such a big problem to finish what you started?\u00a0Is it so hard not to beat your horse, not to throw puppies over your fence out to the street, to give your rubbish into a bin instead of burning it on side of the road or just\u2026 smile at a customer in a shop? The answer is NO. It is very easy, and fortunately there are people who are trying to do something about it. So, the real challenge is not about getting used to these, but to be truly helpful for those who want to change their homeland.<\/p>\n

Try to broaden youth\u2019s horizons so they can have wider purposes, it is what we are doing here. It is knowledge and experience what make us better, stronger, and more useful. It might be written differently in the official papers, but for me it is like that \u2013 Curba de Cultura helps to improve Romanian social environment through giving the opportunity to grow, know and undergo to youngsters.<\/p>\n

Poate sunt eu prea dornic\u0103 de acurate\u021be, dar pe bune acum, e chiar a\u0219a greu s\u0103 termini ce ai \u00eenceput? E a\u0219a greu s\u0103 nu \u00ee\u021bi ba\u021bi calul, s\u0103 nu arunci c\u0103\u021beii peste gard, s\u0103 pui gunoiul \u00een tomberon \u00een loc s\u0103 \u00eel arzi pe marginea drumului ori… s\u0103 z\u00e2mbe\u0219ti unui client \u00een magazin? Raspunsul e NU. E chiar u\u0219or \u0219i din fericire exist\u0103 oameni care \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103 fac\u0103 ceva \u00een privin\u021ba asta. A\u0219adar adev\u0103rata provocare nu e s\u0103 te obi\u0219nuie\u0219ti cu aceste lucruri ci s\u0103 fii cu adev\u0103rat util celor ce vor s\u0103 schimbe ceva \u00een \u021bara lor natal\u0103.<\/p>\n

Ceea ce facem noi aici este s\u0103 \u00eencerc\u0103m s\u0103 extindem orizonturile tinerilor astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t ei s\u0103 aib\u0103 scopuri mai largi. Cuno\u0219tin\u021bele \u0219i experien\u021ba ne fac mai buni, mai puternici \u0219i mai utili. S-ar putea s\u0103 fie scris diferit \u00een h\u00e2rtii dar pentru mine Curba de Cultur\u0103 ajut\u0103 la \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea mediului social rom\u00e2nesc prin facilitaterea de oportunit\u0103\u021bi de a cre\u0219te, cunoa\u0219te \u0219i experimenta.<\/p>\n
