Hallo everyone,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is so nice to meet you! My name is Lucia and I am 21 years old. In January I finished my Bachelor\u2019s degree of the Dutch language, which also happens to be the official language of my home country The Netherlands (or Holland, as you might know it). Afterwards, I suddenly got 7 months of free time before starting a Master\u2019s degree. So why not do something special with it instead of staying home?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ever since the age of 15, I have been dreaming about living in another country for a while. Not just going there on a two weeks holiday and running from tourist attraction to tourist attraction, but actually living and studying or working there for months. My dream was to get to know a different culture from the inside out by becoming one of the inhabitants of the country and learning the language. I wanted to actually d\u00f3 something instead of traveling around, which is why I signed up for the European Solidarity Corps. On their website was a message about a project of Curba de Cultura, with the goal of promoting the local Youth Hostel and local development. Since I have done a minor in Communication and Information Sciences, it seemed like a good fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So here I am now, isolated in a country that is completely new to me. I don\u2019t know the language, the area, the culture, and the people. But I can\u2019t wait to find out and learn all about it in the months to come!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ianuarie am terminat facultatea de limb\u0103 olandez\u0103, care se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 s\u0103 fie \u0219i limba oficial\u0103 a \u021b\u0103rii (Olanda \u2013 dup\u0103 cum i se spune aici). Dup\u0103 aceea, dintr-o dat\u0103 m-am trezit cu 7 luni de timp liber p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00eemi \u00eencep masteratul. Deci, de ce s\u0103 nu fac ceva special dec\u00e2t s\u0103 stau acas\u0103?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00cenc\u0103 de c\u00e2nd aveam 15 ani, am visat sa tr\u0103iesc \u00eentr-o alt\u0103 \u021bar\u0103. Nu doar s\u0103 merg \u00een vacan\u021b\u0103 acolo temporar \u0219i s\u0103 dau peste tot felul de atrac\u021bii turistice, ci s\u0103 tr\u0103iesc, s\u0103 studiez \u0219i s\u0103 lucrez acolo pentru c\u00e2teva luni. Am vrut s\u0103 pot cunoa\u0219te o nou\u0103 cultur\u0103, devenind unul din cet\u0103\u021benii \u021b\u0103rii \u0219i s\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u021b o limb\u0103 diferit\u0103. Am vrut s\u0103 fac \u0219i pu\u021bine c\u0103l\u0103torii, deaceea m-am \u00eenscris la Corpul European de Solidaritate. Pe siteul lor am dat de un mesaj despre un proiect la Curba de Cultur\u0103, care avea ca scop promovarea unui Hostel de tineri \u0219i dezvoltare local\u0103. Din moment ce am f\u0103cut cursuri \u00een comunicare \u0219i \u0219tiin\u021b\u0103 informa\u021bional\u0103, p\u0103rea s\u0103 fie o potrivire perfect\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deci, aici sunt, \u00een izolare \u00eentr-o \u021bar\u0103 complet nou\u0103 mie.
