<\/p>\n[EN] Today I will tell you about my holidays in Romania through my French eyes. Indeed, I was lucky enough to have three weeks off during the Christmas and New Year’s periods.\u00a0 During my holidays I was able to travel through Romania and meet new people. I will present my adventure to you as a logbook and I hope you will enjoy the trip!<\/p>\n
12\/21\/18 : I took a train from Bucharest to Arad. The trip lasted 11 hours but the train was equipped with bunk beds and it allowed me to meet two young Romanians who shared the same wagon as me. We talked about a lot of things, but the one that impressed me the most was the friendliness of the Romanians. Indeed, one of the young people told me that one day he hosted a foreigner from England for three days. This stranger was there for a trip and was really lost. Moreover, it was late and could not find accommodation. So he accosted the young man in question and he seeing that he was lost and a little desperate, it was quite naturally that he suggested that he spend a few days at his home.\u00a0 I was really fascinated by what he said because I don’t know any of my acquaintances in France who told me that they had welcomed a foreigner into their home. Moreover, this young man was only a student in Bucharest who did not have much money but for him it was not a problem at all to share his food, to share his small student room and to share good times. After 11 hours of travel I finally arrived in Arad. Arad is really a beautiful city with beautiful walks to do, a mixture of nature and city. This city has many remarkable buildings like the Holy Trinity Cathedral which for me is the largest church I have ever seen!<\/p>\n

12\/24\/18: After a few days spent in Arad, I return to Bucharest to visit other volunteers (thanks to the On arrival trainig!). But unfortunately for me the volunteers were stuck on Sighi\u0219oara, which put me in a rather embarrassing situation because I arrived very late and didn’t have a bus to get to Schiule\u0219ti. But remember what I wrote earlier about the friendliness of Romanians! That’s when I asked one of the local volunteers who lives in Bucharest if she could welcome me. And she said yes ! In the middle of Christmas with his family I was welcomed, housed and fed as if I were part of their family.\u00a0 For the Christmas Eve we ate Sarmale, meat with rice and spices rolled in cabbage leaves, accompanied by hot chocolate and Cozonac, a sweet cake with raisins \u00a0and chocolate.\u00a0 This Christmas Eve was really different from the ones I was able to do in France. Indeed in my family we usually eat oysters and foie gras as a starter, turkey with potatoes for the main course and a Christmas log for dessert. But this Romanian Christmas Eve was really delicious and I am really happy to have been able to discover the Romanian Christmas dinner.<\/p>\n

12\/25\/18: We woke up around 9am to have breakfast. There were sausages, Oua umplute, tuna, vegetables with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. A very hearty breakfast for me who is used to drinking coffee with fruit. Then it was time to open the gifts and I was pleasantly surprised because I too had gifts! While my arrival was not planned at all in advance, I received gifts from all the family members. Chocolates, a scarf, socks, alcohol and facial care! I was really touched by their attention and I had a great Christmas in Romania that I would remember! Speaking of gifts, I noticed that they were offering each other a lot of socks, chocolate and body care. Compared to my family, we offer chocolates before opening gifts because they are not considered as such. In addition, socks and body care are everyday products. And for my part at Christmas my family gives me money so that I can buy what I want afterwards. Anyway for this Christmas 2018 I was really touched by the attention and friendliness of the peoples. I really felt like I was part of a Romanian family that welcomed me with open arms. To finish this morning, the father drove me to the subway station and even paid for my ticket! I went back to Schiule\u0219ti full of gifts and great memories.<\/p>\n
12\/31\/18: For the New Year I returned to Bucharest to finally visit the other volunteers.\u00a0 They organized an evening in their apartment with Georgian dishes and invited local volunteers. Thus the local volunteers brought back traditional dishes, there were r\u0103cituri, ca\u0219caval, burduf Br\u00e2nz\u0103, pork wrapped in bread, cozonac and lots of bacon. For me this New Year was approximately like the ones I spend in France, except the type of food, we invite friends with a banquet of food, drinks, music and we all shout in our hearts the midnight countdown to wish each other a happy New Year.<\/p>\n

That’s how my festive holidays end. I really enjoyed discovering how the holidays are going in Romania and I was able to meet friends for life.<\/p>\n
Ps: I would like to thank once again the family who welcomed me and especially a young Romanian who showed me my way by accompanying me and paying me for my tickets and food. The Romanian conviviality will remain for me the strong point of my adventure.<\/p>\n

[RO] Ast\u0103zi v\u0103 voi spune despre s\u0103rb\u0103torile mele \u00een Rom\u00e2nia prin ochii mei de francez. \u00centr-adev\u0103r am fost destul de norocoas\u0103 s\u0103 am trei s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni libere \u00een timpul perioadei de Cr\u0103ciun \u0219i a Anului Nou. \u00cen timpul s\u0103rb\u0103torilor am putut s\u0103 c\u0103l\u0103toresc prin Rom\u00e2nia\u00a0 \u0219i s\u0103 \u00eent\u00e2lnesc oameni noi. zi-mi voi prezenta aventurile vou\u0103 sub forma unui jurnal de \u00eenregistr\u0103ri \u0219i sper ca va ve\u021bi bucura de excursie!<\/p>\n
12\/21\/18 : Am luat un tren de la Bucure\u0219ti spre Arad.\u00a0 C\u0103l\u0103toria a durat 11 ore dar trenul a fost echipat cu paturi etajate \u0219i mi-a dat voie s\u0103 cunosc doi tineri rom\u00e2ni ce \u00eemp\u0103r\u021beau acela\u0219i vagon cu mine.\u00a0 Am vorbit despre multe lucruri, dar ce m-a impresionat cel mai mult a fost c\u00e2t de prieteno\u0219i au fost rom\u00e2nii. \u00centr-adev\u0103r, unul dintre tineri mi-a zis c\u0103 \u00eentr-o zi a g\u0103zduit un str\u0103in din Anglia penteu trei zile. Str\u0103inul acesta era acolo pentru trei zile \u0219i era foarte pierdut. Mai mult, era t\u00e2rziu \u0219i nu putea g\u0103si un loc \u00een care s\u0103 stea. A\u0219a c\u0103 l-a acostat pe t\u00e2n\u0103rul acesta \u0219i v\u0103z\u00e2nd c\u0103 este pierdut \u0219i pu\u021bin disperat, a fost destul de natural c\u0103 a sugerat s\u0103 petreac\u0103 c\u00e2teva zile \u00een casa acestuia. Am fost foarte fascinat\u0103 de ceea ce a spus pentru c\u0103 nu \u0219tiu nici unul dintre cunoscu\u021bii mei din Fran\u021ba care s\u0103 \u00eemi fi spus c\u0103 au primit a\u0219a pe cineva str\u0103in \u00een c\u0103minele lor. Mai mult, t\u00e2n\u0103rul era doar un student \u00een Bucure\u0219ti care nu avea mul\u021bi bani, dar pentru el nu a fost o problem\u0103 s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i \u00eempart\u0103 m\u00e2ncarea, s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i \u00eempart\u0103 micu\u021ba camer\u0103 studen\u021beasc\u0103 \u0219i s\u0103 \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u0219easc\u0103 un timp pl\u0103cut. Dup\u0103 11 ore de c\u0103l\u0103torie am ajuns \u00een sf\u00e2r\u0219it \u00een Arad. Arad este un ora\u0219 foarte frumos unde te po\u021bi bucura de plimb\u0103ri foarte frumoase, un mix\u00a0 de natur\u0103 \u0219i ora\u0219. Acest ora\u0219 are multe cl\u0103diri remarcabile ca Catedrala Sfintei Treimi care pentru mine este cea mai mare biseric\u0103 pe care am v\u0103zut-o!<\/p>\n

12\/24\/18: Dup\u0103 c\u00e2teva zile petrecute \u00een Arad, m-am \u00eentors \u00een Bucure\u0219ti s\u0103 vizitez al\u021bi voluntari (mul\u021bumit\u0103 training-ului de On arrival!). Dar din p\u0103cate pentru mine\u00a0 ace\u0219tia au r\u0103mas bloca\u021bi \u00een Sighi\u0219oara, ceea ce m-a pus \u00eentr-o situa\u021bie destul de jenant\u0103,\u00a0 pentru c\u0103 am ajuns t\u00e2rziu \u0219i nu am avut un autobuz cu care s\u0103 ajung \u00een Schiule\u0219ti. Dar v\u0103 aminti\u021bi ce am scris mai devreme despre c\u00e2t de prieteno\u0219i sunt rom\u00e2nii! Atunci am \u00eentrebat\u00a0 unul din voluntarii locali care locuie\u0219te \u00een Bucure\u0219ti dac\u0103 m\u0103 poate g\u0103zdui. \u0218i a zis da! \u00cen mijlocul Cr\u0103ciunului cu familia acestuia am fost primit\u0103, g\u0103zduit\u0103 \u0219i hr\u0103nit\u0103 de parc\u0103 eram parte din familie. Pentru Ajunul Cr\u0103ciunului am m\u00e2ncat sarmale, carne cu orez \u0219i condimente rulate \u00een frunze de varz\u0103, acompaniate de ciocolat\u0103 cald\u0103 \u0219i cozonac, un chec dulce cu rahat \u0219i ciocolat\u0103. Acest Ajun de Cr\u0103ciun a fost foarte diferit de cele pe care le-am putut avea \u00een Fran\u021ba. \u00centr-adev\u0103r \u00een familia mea de obicei m\u00e2nc\u0103m stridii, pateu de g\u00e2sc\u0103 (foie gras) ca aperitive, curcan cu cartofi la felul principal \u0219i un tort “Christmas log” pentru desert. Dar acest Ajun de Cr\u0103ciun rom\u00e2nesc a fost foarte delicios \u0219i am fost foarte fericit\u0103 s\u0103 am oportunitatea de a descoperi Cina de Cr\u0103ciun Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103.<\/p>\n

12\/25\/18: Ne-am trezit \u00een jurul orei 9 pentru micul dejun. Au fost c\u00e2rna\u021bi, ou\u0103 umplute, past\u0103 de pe\u0219te, legume, cu ceai, cafea sau ciocolat\u0103 cald\u0103. Un mic dejun foarte solid pentru mine care sunt obi\u0219nuit\u0103 cu a bea cafea cu fructe. Apoi a venit timpul desfacerii cadourilor \u0219i am fost pl\u0103cut surprins\u0103 pentru c\u0103 \u0219i eu aveam cadouri! De\u0219i venirea mea nu a fost planificat\u0103 deloc \u00een avans, am primit cadouri de la to\u021bi membri familiei. Ciocolat\u0103, o e\u0219arf\u0103, \u0219osete, alcool \u0219i lucruri pentru \u00eengrijirea fe\u021bei! Am fost foarte atins\u0103 de\u00a0 aten\u021bia lor \u0219i am avut un Cr\u0103ciun minunat \u00een Rom\u00e2nia pe care mi-l voi aminti! Vorbind de cadouri, am observat c\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i ofereau unii altora multe \u0219osete, ciocolat\u0103\u00a0 \u0219i lucruri pentru \u00eengrijirea corpului. F\u0103c\u00e2nd o compara\u021bie cu familia mea, noi oferit ciocolat\u0103 \u00eenainte de a deschide cadourile pentru c\u0103 nu sunt considerate astfel. De asemenea, \u0219osetele \u0219i lucrurile de \u00eengrijirea corpului sunt lucruri de zi cu zi.\u00a0 \u0218i mie cel pu\u021bin de Cr\u0103ciun familia \u00eemi d\u0103 bani pentru a putea cump\u0103ra ceea ce vreau dup\u0103. Oricum pentru acest Cr\u0103ciun 2018 am fost foarte atins\u0103 de c\u0103tre aten\u021bia \u0219i felul prietenos de a fi al oamenilor. Chiar m-am sim\u021bit de parc\u0103 sunt parte dintr-o familie rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 care m-a primit cu bra\u021bele deschise. zla final, de diminea\u021b\u0103 tat\u0103l m-a condus la metrou \u0219i chiar a pl\u0103tit pentru biletul meu! M-am \u00eentors \u00een Schiule\u0219ti plin\u0103 de cadouri \u0219i amintiri minunate!<\/p>\n
12\/31\/18: Pentru Anul Nou m-am \u00eentors \u00een Bucure\u0219ti pentru a \u00eei vizita \u00een sf\u00e2r\u0219it pe ceilal\u021bi voluntari. Ace\u0219tia au organizat o dup\u0103-amiaz\u0103\u00a0 \u00een apartamentul lor cu preparate din Georgia \u0219i au invitat voluntari locali. A\u0219adar voluntarii locali au adus \u00eenapoi preparate tradi\u021bionale: au fost r\u0103cituri, ca\u0219caval, br\u00e2nz\u0103 de burduf, porc \u00eenvelit \u00een p\u00e2ine, cozonac \u0219i o gr\u0103mad\u0103 de bacon. Pentru mine acest An Noua fost aproximativ ca cele pe care le petrec \u00een Fran\u021ba, \u00eenafar\u0103 de tipul de m\u00e2ncare – invit\u0103m prieteni cu un banchet de m\u00e2ncare, b\u0103utur\u0103, muzic\u0103, \u0219i strig\u0103m cu to\u021bii \u00een inimile noastre num\u0103r\u0103toarea de Anul Nou pentru a ne ura un An Nou Fericit.<\/p>\n

\u0102sta este felul \u00een care s\u0103rb\u0103torile. mele festive se sf\u00e2r\u0219esc mereu.\u00a0 Chiar m-am bucurat s\u0103 descop\u0103r cum se desf\u0103\u0219oar\u0103 s\u0103rb\u0103torile \u00een Rom\u00e2nia \u0219i de faptul c\u0103 am avut oportunitatea de a \u00eent\u00e2lni prieteni pe via\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n
Ps: A\u0219 vrea s\u0103 le mul\u021bumesc \u00eenc\u0103 o dat\u0103 at\u00e2tfamiliei care\u00a0 m-a \u00eent\u00e2mpinat \u0219i mai ales unui t\u00e2n\u0103r rom\u00e2n care mi-a ar\u0103tat calea prin a m\u0103 acompania \u0219i pl\u0103tidu\u00e2-mi pentru bilete \u0219i m\u00e2ncare.
