I\u2018m\u00a0in Romania for almost two months, and\u00a0I\u00a0have\u00a0been\u00a0in\u00a0Crasna Monastery\u00a03\u00a0times. It looks\u00a0like\u00a0I\u00a0really\u00a0like\u00a0this place and actually it is\u00a0like\u00a0that. So, why have\u00a0I\u00a0been there for three\u00a0times\u00a0in such a\u00a0short\u00a0time?\u00a0Firstly\u00a0because\u00a0I\u00a0just\u00a0wanted\u00a0to hike and\u00a0I\u00a0knew\u00a0that the main road will\u00a0take\u00a0me to\u00a0Crasna,\u00a0second\u00a0time\u00a0I\u00a0visited it with almost all\u00a0EVS\u00a0team and third\u00a0time\u00a0because\u00a0we\u00a0wanted\u00a0to\u00a0get\u00a0interview\u00a0from a\u00a0priest.\u00a0And\u00a0I\u00a0can\u00a0say\u00a0third\u00a0time\u00a0gave\u00a0me the\u00a0biggest\u00a0introduction with\u00a0church.<\/p>\n

When\u00a0we\u00a0met\u00a0the first\u00a0priest\u00a0who was\u00a0talking\u00a0in\u00a0the church, he\u00a0invited\u00a0us to\u00a0join\u00a0and at the\u00a0same\u00a0time\u00a0we\u00a0got\u00a0blessed.\u00a0I\u00a0think\u00a0that was one of the kindest priest\u00a0I\u00a0have\u00a0met\u00a0in my\u00a0life.\u00a0I\u00a0really\u00a0liked\u00a0him,\u00a0the conversation\u00a0with him, even\u00a0I\u00a0don\u2019t know Romanian, was enjoyable.\u00a0But unfortunately he wasn\u2019t the\u00a0priest\u00a0who will\u00a0answer at the\u00a0questions.\u00a0That\u2019s\u00a0why we\u00a0needed\u00a0to talk with other\u00a0priests.\u00a0Before our talk, the\u00a0priest\u00a0offered us lunch which\u00a0was\u00a0something amazing, delicious and kind move from\u00a0them, but as I found\u00a0out, if you\u00a0want\u00a0you can\u00a0get\u00a0food\u00a0every\u00a0day\u00a0in\u00a0the monastery\u00a0at 12:00 O\u2019clock.\u00a0I\u00a0enjoyed\u00a0food\u00a0there and that\u2019s why\u00a0we\u00a0weren\u2019t comfortable about the\u00a0idea\u00a0that they will\u00a0clean\u00a0after us.\u00a0Then came the idea about helping and\u00a0showing\u00a0our\u00a0respect\u00a0to\u00a0them\u00a0with\u00a0cleaning\u00a0also, that\u00a0we\u00a0can be\u00a0helpful\u00a0to\u00a0them. We\u00a0cleaned\u00a0after ourselves, the\u00a0room\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0ate\u00a0and also other place, plus\u00a0we\u00a0prepared the\u00a0room\u00a0for\u00a0priests\u00a0where\u00a0they will\u00a0eat\u00a0dinner.\u00a0I\u00a0felt\u00a0at this\u00a0moment\u00a0that\u00a0we\u00a0were building trust between\u00a0them\u00a0and us, so maybe in future if someone will\u00a0need\u00a0something from\u00a0them\u00a0they will help.\u00a0As\u00a0I\u00a0said before, we\u00a0went\u00a0for interview and it\u2019s what\u00a0we\u00a0did.\u00a0A\u00a0priest\u00a0answered to all our\u00a0questions\u00a0fast and clear.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
\n\"\"<\/span><\/span>They\u00a0were\u00a0so\u00a0kind\u00a0that\u00a0they\u00a0even showed us their\u00a0space\u00a0with\u00a0animals (a\u00a0lot\u00a0of\u00a0them),\u00a0like a mini\u00a0 ZOO with\u00a0pigs,\u00a0chickens\u00a0and\u00a0cows, but the biggest surprise for me\u00a0was\u00a0a black\u00a0small\u00a0pig, it was\u00a0so\u00a0amazing.\u00a0I\u00a0fell in love because that was first time for me when\u00a0I\u00a0saw\u00a0black\u00a0pig.
\nThe time\u00a0with a\u00a0priest\u00a0ran\u00a0so\u00a0fast, that with him we spent more than 2h of\u00a0conversation\u00a0about anything.\u00a0He\u00a0talked\u00a0about\u00a0history\u00a0and\u00a0explained\u00a0everything that we\u00a0wanted\u00a0to\u00a0know.\u00a0For example:\u00a0about the year 1942, there was\u00a0the rule that no one\u00a0could\u00a0live\u00a0in the monastery. In Crasna, there\u00a0was one\u00a0priest\u00a0who\u00a0lived\u00a0next to the\u00a0monastery\u00a0for 7\u00a0years.\u00a0When the rule ended, he retuned back to\u00a0the monastery\u00a0and\u00a0started\u00a0to\u00a0build\u00a0it\u00a0as we can\u00a0see\u00a0it\u00a0now.\u00a0He\u00a0created\u00a0everything.\u00a0And now, in the\u00a0monastery is\u00a0living more than 20\u00a0monks.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0I\u00a0was\u00a0there\u00a0I\u00a0saw\u00a0how much\u00a0time\u00a0they are\u00a0spending\u00a0for\u00a0taking care\u00a0of\u00a0monastery, everything was clean, beautiful and full of\u00a0flowers.\u00a0The only\u00a0sad\u00a0thing about that\u00a0place\u00a0is\u00a0that\u00a0they\u00a0have\u00a0bad\u00a0road\u00a0and\u00a0if\u00a0you\u00a0want\u00a0to\u00a0get\u00a0there\u00a0you\u00a0need\u00a0to drive\u00a0really\u00a0slowly. But in\u00a0winter, getting\u00a0there\u00a0is impossible, because of the\u00a0road\u00a0or\u00a0if\u00a0you\u00a0really\u00a0want\u00a0to\u00a0get\u00a0there\u00a0you\u00a0need\u00a0to walk.\u00a0The monastery\u00a0is in middle of nowhere, that means\u00a0it\u2019s far away from\u00a0civilization\u00a0and\u00a0priest\u00a0said that they like\u00a0it, It\u2019s\u00a0quiet\u00a0and\u00a0if\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0quiet\u00a0you\u00a0can\u00a0find\u00a0some\u00a0peace\u00a0and rest.\u00a0I completely agree with that.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0suggest\u00a0you\u00a0all to go\u00a0there\u00a0and\u00a0find\u00a0your own peace,\u00a0to\u00a0just\u00a0enjoy\u00a0time\u00a0there\u00a0or\u00a0have\u00a0some\u00a0interesting\u00a0conversation\u00a0with the\u00a0priests who are always open for\u00a0some\u00a0conversation.\u00a0Also,\u00a0some\u00a0of them\u00a0can\u00a0speak\u00a0English, so you\u00a0can have\u00a0some\u00a0good experience\u00a0there.\u00a0As I\u00a0did.<\/p>\n

M\u0103n\u0103stirea Crasna, Schiule\u0219ti<\/p>\n

Sunt \u00een Rom\u00e2nia de dou\u0103 luni \u0219i am fost de 3 ori la M\u0103n\u0103stirea Crasna. Pare c\u0103 chiar \u00eemi place locul acesta \u0219i chiar a\u0219a este! Deci, de ce am fost aici de 3 ori \u00eentr-o perioad\u0103 a\u0219a scurt\u0103 ? Prima dat\u0103 am fost pentru c\u0103 am vrut s\u0103 m\u0103 plimb \u0219i \u0219tiam c\u0103 drumul principal o s\u0103 m\u0103 duc\u0103 la Crasna. A doua oar\u0103 am vizitat-o \u200b\u200bcu aproape tot grupul de voluntari SEV \u0219i a treia oar\u0103 pentru c\u0103 am vrut s\u0103 ob\u021binem un interviu de la un preot. \u0218i pot spune c\u0103 a treia oar\u0103 mi-a dat cea mai mare apropiere de biseric\u0103.<\/p>\n

C\u00e2nd ne-am \u00eent\u00e2lnit cu primul preot care vorbea \u00een biseric\u0103, ne-a invitat s\u0103 ne al\u0103tur\u0103m \u0219i, \u00een acela\u0219i timp, am fost binecuv\u00e2nta\u021bi. Cred c\u0103 a fost unul dintre cei mai buni preo\u021bi pe care i-am \u00eent\u00e2lnit \u00een via\u021ba mea. Mi-a pl\u0103cut cu adev\u0103rat conversa\u021bia cu el, chiar dac\u0103 nu \u0219tiu limba rom\u00e2n\u0103, a fost pl\u0103cut\u0103. M-am \u00eendr\u0103gostit pentru c\u0103 a fost pentru prima oar\u0103, pentru mine, c\u00e2nd am v\u0103zut un porc negru. Timpul cu un preot a fugit at\u00e2t de repede, \u00eenc\u00e2t \u00eempreun\u0103 cu el am petrecut mai mult de 2 ore de conversa\u021bie despre orice. A vorbit despre istorie \u0219i a explicat tot ce am vrut s\u0103 \u0219tim. De exemplu: \u00een jurul anului 1942 a existat regula c\u0103 nimeni nu putea tr\u0103i \u00een m\u0103n\u0103stire.
