11th of June, H\u00e9lo\u00efse’s first departure.\u00a0<\/strong>She was in the office at 9 am, on time as always in the last 9 months. After double checking the luggage she packed in the back of her rented car and having her usual morning cup of coffee, she sat in the big silver BMW and drove off to Bulgaria. The moment was kind of glamorous – in the way that she sometimes was (and most of the time joked to be) to keep the spirits high.<\/p>\n

This days she finished her volunteering stage. Driving off to Bulgaria is just a beginning of her one-month holiday trip that she more than deserves after 9 moths of volunteering in Curba. For us these 9 months passed like a snap of the fingers \u2014\u00a0it’s been fun, creative, educative and \u2014 always well done.<\/p>\n

English was so much fun.\u00a0<\/strong>If our volunteers would be packing smiles and hugs they got while working with kids and youngsters, H\u00e9lo\u00efse wouldn’t fit all of it in her luggage. Many many of them she got in her weekly English lessons with the kids of Izvoarele. Starting somewhere in October, the lessons became famous right away as fun time for the local kids that wanted to practice English.\u00a0H\u00e9lo\u00efse made them in such an easygoing and relaxed spirit that most of them didn’t even notice when they started talking in English while playing. The success didn’t stay unnoticed, not even by her humble self – here’s where H\u00e9lo\u00efse realised she is doing a great job<\/a> with it. Just before leaving and in the peak of all the work that needed to be done she closed up her own fun school year with a Treasure hunt game, saying goodbye with her facultative students in her very own fun way. We need more teachers like\u00a0H\u00e9lo\u00efse around here.<\/p>\n

A source of inspiration.\u00a0<\/strong>Looking back it seems like everything was a first time with\u00a0H\u00e9lo\u00efse – \u00a0the first Escape Room in Curba, the first Clothes Swap afternoon, the first natural cosmetics workshop, the first stand for International Women’s Day in highschool, the very first French breakfast. All of those were prepared and implemented\u00a0with creativity, determination and passion, always on time and with great care. We need brains like H\u00e9lo\u00efses’ when planning activities.<\/p>\n

\"\" \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

Making things happen.<\/strong> And then there was daily life. If it haven’t been for H\u00e9lo\u00efse, the team of Curba wouldn’t have had a glamorous Christmas all-day-slow-food celebration. Her original team in the so called “Homoraciu house” – Melanie<\/a>, Stefanie<\/a> and Martina<\/a> – would miss a beating heart of the house, that was taking care of everything and everybody, organising common life from cooking to shopping. The way she managed to organise the house inspired Curba’s staff as well. Knowing that she’s around, taking risks with trying new things was somehow – easy. We need easy, sometimes!<\/p>\n

\"\"This is not a goodbye post. We said it for many times and we will keep repeating – we need people like her, she should be coming back. (Anyways, our French people tend to, right Estelle<\/a>?).<\/p>\n

11 iunie, prima plecare a lui H\u00e9lo\u00efse. <\/strong>A fost la 9 diminea\u021ba la birou, la timp, ca \u00een ultimele 9 luni. Dup\u0103 o dubl\u0103 verificare a bagajului \u00eenc\u0103rcat \u00een portbagajului ma\u0219inii \u00eenchiriate \u0219i dup\u0103 obi\u0219nuita can\u0103 de cafea, s-a urcat \u00een BMW-ul argintiu \u0219i a pornit-o spre Bulgaria. Momentul a fost destul de glamoros – \u00een felul \u00een care era ea c\u00e2teodat\u0103 (\u0219i de cele mai multe ori glumea) ca s\u0103 men\u021bin\u0103 buna dispozi\u021bie.<\/p>\n

Zilele astea \u0219i-a \u00eencheiat stagiul de voluntariat. C\u0103l\u0103toria spre Bulgaria este doar \u00eenceputul vacan\u021bei de o lun\u0103 pe care o merit\u0103 dup\u0103 nou\u0103 luni de voluntariat \u00een Curb\u0103. Pentru noi aceste 9 luni au trecut precum a-i pocni din degete – distractive, creative, educative – \u0219i bine realizate.<\/p>\n

Engleza a fost foarte distractiv\u0103. <\/strong>Dac\u0103 voluntarii no\u0219tri ar \u00eempacheta z\u00e2mbetele \u0219i \u00eembr\u0103\u021bi\u0219\u0103rile pe care le primesc c\u00e2nd lucreaz\u0103 cu copii, heloise nu le-ar putea pune pe toate \u00een bagaj. Multe dintre ele le-a primit \u00een lec\u021bii s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2nale de englez\u0103 cu copii din Izvoarele. \u00cencepute undeva \u00een octombrie, lec\u021biile au devenit faimoase imediat printre copii care au dorit s\u0103 practice engleza. Heloise l-a f\u0103cut u\u0219oare \u0219i relaxate \u0219i mul\u021bi dintre ei nici m\u0103car nu au realizat c\u00e2nd au \u00eenceput s\u0103 vorbeasc\u0103 englez\u0103 \u00een timp ce se jucau. Succesul nu a fost neobservat \u0219i nici m\u0103car de c\u0103tre ego-ul ei umil – acesta e momentul \u00een care a realizat c\u0103 a f\u0103cut o treab\u0103 bun\u0103<\/a>. Chiar \u00eenainte de a pleca \u0219i \u00een momentul culminant al muncii ei a \u00eencheiat anul \u0219colar cu o v\u00e2n\u0103toare de comori, spun\u00e2ndu-le la revedere elevilor ei facultativi \u00een modul ei amuzant. Ne trebuie mai mul\u021bi profesori ca Heloise aici.<\/p>\n

O surs\u0103 de inspira\u021bie. <\/strong>Privind \u00een urm\u0103 pare c\u0103 totul a avut loc pentru prima dat\u0103 cu Heloise – primul Escape Room la Curb\u0103, primul Schimb de Haine, primul atelier de cosmetice naturale, primul stand pentru Ziua Interna\u021bional\u0103 a Femeilor la liceu, primul mic dejun fran\u021buzesc. Toate au fost preg\u0103tite \u0219i implementate cu creativitate, determinare \u0219i pasiune, \u00eentotdeauna la timp \u0219i cu mult\u0103 grij\u0103. Avem nevoie de min\u021bi ca ale lui Heloise la planificarea activit\u0103\u021bilor.<\/p>\n

Lucrurile se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103.<\/strong>\u00a0\u0218i via\u021ba de zi cu zi. Dac\u0103 nu era Heloise, echipa Curbei nu ar fi avut un Cr\u0103ciun plin de farmec \u0219i cu m\u00e2ncare pe durata \u00eentregii zile. Grupul ini\u021bial din care a f\u0103cut parte numit \u201eHomor\u00e2ciu house\u201d –\u00a0Melanie<\/a>,\u00a0Stefanie<\/a>\u00a0\u0219i\u00a0Martina<\/a> – n-ar fi avut o inim\u0103 a casei, care s\u0103 aib\u0103 grij\u0103 de totul \u0219i de to\u021bi, s\u0103 organizeze via\u021ba \u00een comun de la g\u0103tit la cump\u0103r\u0103turi. Modul \u00een care a organizat casa a inspirat personalul Curbei. \u0218tiind-o pe-aproape, \u0219tiind c\u0103 \u00ee\u021bi asum\u0103 riskuri \u0219i c\u0103 \u00eencearc\u0103 lucruri noi a fost cumva – u\u0219or. \u0218i avem nevoie \u0219i de asta, uneori!<\/p>\n

Acesta nu este un articol de la revedere. Am zis-o de multe ori \u0219i vom repeta-o – avem nevoie de oameni ca ea, ar trebui s\u0103 se \u00eentoarc\u0103 (oricum se pare c\u0103 francezii au tendin\u021ba de a se \u00eentoarce, nu-i a\u0219a\u00a0Estelle<\/a>?).<\/p>\n

Mul\u021bumim pentru c\u0103 ai fost a\u0219a minunat\u0103 \u0219i ne vedem peste o lun\u0103 dup\u0103 c\u0103l\u0103toria ta, domni\u0219oar\u0103!<\/p>\n
