El a \u00eenfiin\u021bat acest loc minunat pentru a aduce oamenii \u00eempreun\u0103 \u0219i pentru a le oferi un context unde s\u0103 comunice \u00een timp ce li se serve\u0219te un pr\u00e2nz delicios. \u00cen fiecare duminic\u0103, voluntarii mai \u00een v\u00e2rst\u0103 transmit cuno\u0219tin\u021bele lor culinare participan\u021bilor mai tineri, \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u00e2ndu-i s\u0103 g\u0103teasc\u0103 \u00een timp ce preg\u0103tesc un o oal\u0103 mare de paste pentru oricine dore\u0219te s\u0103 participe. Aceasta este o parte din ce se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00een \u201eThe Good Kitchen\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dar adev\u0103ratul motiv pentru care am mers \u00een Sicilia, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 atmosfera de la \u201eThe Good Kitchen\u201d, a fost participarea la un atelier despre activitatea din buc\u0103t\u0103riile comunitare. Scopul atelierului a fost de a crea un cadru pentru un atelier destinat tinerilor buc\u0103tari interesa\u021bi s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i deschid\u0103 propriile buc\u0103t\u0103rii comunitare \u0219i, \u00een plus, de a construi un website de cercetare care s\u0103 ofere \u00eendrum\u0103ri cu privire la modul de deschidere a unei buc\u0103t\u0103rii comunitare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participan\u021bii la atelier au fost un amestec de persoane care gestioneaz\u0103 deja buc\u0103t\u0103rii comunitare \u0219i al\u021bii, ca noi, care sunt la \u00eenceput. Acest amestec de experien\u021be a creat un mediu de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare minunat, \u00een care am f\u0103cut schimb de idei \u0219i am ob\u021binut informa\u021bii despre diferite modele de buc\u0103t\u0103rii comunitare \u0219i despre modul \u00een care acestea func\u021bioneaz\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen leg\u0103tur\u0103 cu aceasta, am discutat despre diferitele aspecte ale activit\u0103\u021bii comunitare \u00een domeniul alimenta\u021biei, cum ar fi salvarea alimentelor de la supermarketuri \u0219i fermieri \u0219i modul de desf\u0103\u0219urare a livr\u0103rilor de alimente. \u00cen plus, am discutat despre importan\u021ba respect\u0103rii dorin\u021belor comunit\u0103\u021bilor \u00een ceea ce prive\u0219te tipul de alimente pe care \u00eel prefer\u0103. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 aceasta, am avut ocazia s\u0103 ne \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bim abilit\u0103\u021bile personale de a folosi cu\u021bitul, \u00een timp ce g\u0103team o m\u00e2ncare tradi\u021bional\u0103 italian\u0103 de paste numit\u0103 \u201ePasta alla Norma\u201d pentru 50 de persoane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen timpul petrecut la \u201eThe Good Kitchen\u201d am sim\u021bit puterea pe care m\u00e2ncarea o are de a aduce oamenii \u00eempreun\u0103. He set up this wonderful place to bring people together and let them connect while they are being served a delicious lunch. Every Sunday, older volunteers pass down their cooking knowledge to younger participants, teaching them their cooking skills while preparing a massive batch of pasta for anyone who wants to join. And this is one of the things that usually happen in \u201cThe Good Kitchen\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the real reason we went to Sicily besides experiencing the atmosphere at \u201cThe Good Kitchen\u201d was to attend a workshop about the work in community kitchens. The goal of the workshop was to create a framework for a workshop for young chefs interested in starting their own community kitchens and additionally to build a research website offering guidance on how to open a community kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attendees of the workshop were a mix of people who already run community kitchens and others, like us, who are just getting started. This mix of experiences created a lovely learning environment, where we exchanged ideas and gained insight into different models of community kitchens and how they operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In relation to that, we talked about the different aspects of community food work, like rescuing food from supermarkets and farmers and how to run food deliveries. Furthermore, we discussed the importance of respecting the communities wishes, in terms of what kind of food they want. Besides that, we got the opportunity to improve our personal knife skills, while cooking a traditional Italian pasta dish called \u201cPasta alla Norma\u201d for 50 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During our time at \u201cThe Good Kitchen\u201d, we felt the power that food has to bring people together.
