Aceast\u0103 reflec\u021bie asupra s\u0103rb\u0103torilor pascale a fost preg\u0103tit\u0103 \u00een comun de Josu\u00e9 \u0219i Gertrudis, voluntarii no\u0219tri din Spania din cadrul proiectului Discover Tei\u0219ani. Tradus de Alex Popa.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chiar dac\u0103 Rom\u00e2nia face parte din Europa \u0219i \u00een unele aspecte nu at\u00e2t de diferit\u0103 de \u021bara noastr\u0103, in acela\u0219i timp ai senza\u021bia de a fi \u00eentr-o realitate ie\u0219ita din comun. Ca exemplu, odat\u0103 cu Pa\u0219tele \u00eent\u00e2lnim \u2013 cea mai mare s\u0103rb\u0103toare cre\u0219tin\u0103 \u2013 sentimentul este c\u0103 probabil a\u021bi mai v\u0103zut un lucru asem\u0103n\u0103tor, dar este \u00een acela\u0219i timp unul deosebit, deoarece biserica de aici este o biserica ortodox\u0103, se aseam\u0103n\u0103 celei catolice, care este cea cu care noi suntem obi\u0219nui\u021bi. Aceasta este prima noastr\u0103 experien\u021b\u0103 cu partea necunoscuta de noi a cre\u0219tinismului.Am avut oportunitatea sa ne bucuram pentru prima oara de Pastele Tradi\u021bional Romanesc in satele Tei\u0219ani si Olteni. Am fost anun\u021ba\u021bi ca aici festivitatea Pa\u0219telui este urmat de vechiul calendar ortodox, asta \u00eenseamna ca anul acesta, Duminica \u00cenvierii a fost situata pe 25 aprilie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prin urmare, este un lucru \u00een comun s\u0103 vedem cum familiile se preg\u0103tesc pentru aceast\u0103 zi prin fierberea ou\u0103lor \u0219i prin colorarea lor cu vopsea special\u0103 pentru coaj\u0103 ou\u0103lor.Am descoperit procesul al\u0103turi de un voluntar local care ne-a explicat c\u0103 vopsirea ou\u0103lor poate fi realizat\u0103 \u0219i prin utilizarea cepei. Alegerea culorii ro\u0219ii este cea mai comun\u0103, deoarece evoc\u0103 s\u00e2ngele lui Isus Hristos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joia, vinerea \u0219i s\u00e2mb\u0103t\u0103, \u00eenainte de Duminic\u0103 \u00cenvierii, are loc o slujba dedicat\u0103 Pa\u0219telui. Joi, liturghia este mult mai lung\u0103 dec\u00e2t de obicei, preotul cite\u0219te cele 12 pove\u0219ti ale Evangheliei, c\u00e2te unul pentru fiecare apostol. Am luat parte la aceast\u0103 liturghie \u0219i a fost interesant cum a trebuit s\u0103 “re\u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m” procesul bunelor maniere din biserica datorit\u0103 faptului c\u0103 sunt total diferite de cele pe care le urm\u0103m \u00een \u021bar\u0103 fiec\u0103rui dintre noi. Din fericire am avut un localnic dornic cu noi explic\u00e2nd tot ceea ce aveam nevoie s\u0103 \u0219tim pentru nu arat\u0103 prea mult str\u0103ini ;). La final, noi \u0219i restul oamenilor am primit o sticl\u0103 de suc de portocale pentru aceast\u0103 ocazie excep\u021bional\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cea mai impresionant\u0103 zi pentru noi a fost s\u00e2mb\u0103t\u0103. La \u00eenceputul liturghiei, care \u00eencepe \u00een jurul orei 12 noaptea, oamenii c\u00e2nt\u0103 \u0219i \u00eempart focul lum\u00e2n\u0103rilor pentru a le aprinde, \u00eencep\u00e2nd cu lum\u00e2narea mare pe care o \u021bine preotul. Dup\u0103 un timp, oamenii merg la cimitir cu lum\u00e2n\u0103rile lor \u0219i le las\u0103 acolo. Este momentul s\u0103 petrecem c\u00e2teva minute amintindu-ne de str\u0103mo\u0219ii lor care au murit. De dat\u0103 aceast\u0103 \u00een cimitir merg s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i aminteasc\u0103 de oamenii care au fost aproape de ei, \u00eens\u0103 aici nu mai este vedere doar s\u0103rb\u0103toarea de Pa\u0219ti cum suntem obi\u0219nui\u021bi noi \u00een Spania. Chiar \u0219i pentru unii rom\u00e2ni cu care am vorbit, care nu sunt din comun\u0103, este curios. \u00cen plus, putem spune c\u0103 rezultatul merit\u0103 v\u0103zut \u0219i este locul unde ne punem eforturile pentru a surprinde magia acestui moment, la biserica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am insotit o familie in cimitirul Tei\u0219ani \u00een acel moment. \u00cenc\u0103 auzeam sunetul oamenilor c\u00e2nt\u00e2nd \u00een biseric\u0103. Apoi, ne-am \u00eentors \u0219i slujba s-a terminat pe la 02:30. Cu toate acestea, slujba obi\u0219nuia s\u0103 se termine mai t\u00e2rziu, dar de data aceasta pentru m\u0103surile Covid au terminat totul putin mai devreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De-a lungul nop\u021bii ne-am dat seama de faptul c\u0103 nu v\u0103zusem cu adev\u0103rat comun\u0103 Tei\u0219ani noaptea p\u00e2n\u0103 atunci din cauza st\u0103rii de urgen\u021b\u0103. \u00cen aceast\u0103 zi Teisani, a fost aglomerat dac\u0103 l-am compar\u0103 cu restul zilelor ale acestui an. A fost frumos s\u0103 vedem tineri stand \u00een jurul nostru vorbind pentru a profit\u0103 de ocazia special\u0103 care ne aduce aici.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fost cu adev\u0103rat impresionant \u0219i s\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2nem \u00een cimitirul din Olteni mai t\u00e2rziu, acolo nu era nimeni \u0219i era foarte lini\u0219te. De la aceast\u0103 liturghie \u0219i timp de 40 de zile, este obi\u0219nuit c\u0103 oamenii s\u0103 se \u00eent\u00e2mpine cu \u00abHristos a \u00cenviat!\u00bb \u0219i ei r\u0103spund cu \u00abAdev\u0103rat un \u00eenviat!\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if Romania is part of Europe and in some aspects not that different from our country, at the same time you have the feeling of being in a different reality. For example, with Easter – the biggest Christian celebration – the feeling is that you have seen this before but it is at the same time different since the one here is the Orthodox churchunlike the Catholic one which is the one we are used to. This is our first experience with the astern part of the Christianism.

We had the opportunity of enjoying Romanian Easter for the first time in the villages of Tei\u0219ani and Olteni. We have been informed that Easter festivity follows here the old Orthodox calendar, which means that this year the Resurrection Sunday, the most important day for this fest, was on the 25th of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, it is common to see how families prepare for that day by dying boiled eggs with special ink for the shell of the eggs. We discovered the process with a local volunteer that explained to us that the dying can also be made with onions. The red choice for the eggs is the most common because it evokes the blood of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the Resurrection Sunday, there are special mass. On Thursday, the mass is longer than usual, the priest reads twelvefold of the gospel, one for each apostle. We visited that mass and it was interesting how we had to “relearn” the process and manners in the church due to they are different from the ones we used to follow in our country. Luckily we had a local with us explaining all what we needed to know not too look too much like foreigners ;). At the end, we and the rest of people received a bottle of orange juice for this exceptional occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most impressive day for us was Saturday. At the beginning of the mass, which starts about 12h in the night, people sing and share the fire of their candles to light them up, starting with the big candle that the priest holds. After a while, people go to the cemetery with their candles and they let them there. It is the moment to spent some minutes remembering their ancestors who passed away. This time in the cemetery to think about the people who were close to us but are not anymore is not sight in the Easter fest that we are used to in Spain. Even for some Romanians who we have talked with but are not from the commune it is curious. Besides, we can say that the result is worthwhile to see, and it is where we put our efforts to capture the magic of this moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We acompannied a family to the Tei\u0219ani’s cementery in that moment. We could hear still the sound of people singing in the church. Then, we came back and the mass finished about 2:30h. Nevertheless, the mass used to finish later, but this time for Covid measures they finished earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along the night we realised the fact that we had not really seen Tei\u0219ani at night until then because of the curfew. This day Teisani was crowded if we compare it with the rest of this year. It was nice to see young people hanging around taking profit from the special occasion that brings us here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was really impressive also to stay in the cementery of Olteni later, were there was no one and it was really quiet. From this mass and during 40 days, is common that people greets themselves with \u00abHristos a \u00cenviat<\/em>!\u00bb (Christ has risen) and they answer \u00abAdev\u0103rat a \u00eenviat!\u00bb (Indeed he has risen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
