Bun\u0103 ziua. My name is Thibaut Gillet and I\u2019m from Belgium. Over there I lived in a small and quiet village in a flat agricultural area. I studied geography and got my master. Then I look for a job and did some voluntary work locally on a second hand store. But I felt something wasn\u2019t going right.<\/p>\n
I felt like I couldn\u2019t find the right place for me either because the job would be numbing and\/or pointless or because I felt frustrated by the negative answers for my applications to the jobs for which I\u2019d have been a good fit.<\/p>\n
I needed to see and live something else\u2026 and I guess everyone who goes to EVS is looking for the same thing. I heard from EVS through a really nice organization in Belgium called \u201ccompagnons battisseurs\u201d (not linked with the franc-macon, I asked :p). So I decided why not apply to some projects too besides the job applications.<\/p>\n
I wanted to find an organization and a project that works in a rural area and that integrates the population around them and that want to promote some values for a better well-being for everybody. So far I really feel like I\u2019ve found the right ones.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s still a challenge for me; I\u2019ve a strong side of me that just need some alone and quiet time. And I don\u2019t consider myself as a creative and extravert one. But I want to learn how to animate a group, how to get them invested, and how make them understand or grow knowledge through some fun time.<\/p>\n
I like tennis, windsurf, and hiking. I also like maps, strategic games, video games, movies, poetry, philosophy and almost everything and everyone that can help you see things from different angles and points of view.<\/p>\n
Bun\u0103 ziua. Numele meu este Thibaut Gillet \u0219i vin din Belgia. Acolo locuiesc \u00eentr-un s\u0103tuc mic \u0219i lini\u0219tit \u00eentr-o zon\u0103 agricol\u0103. Am studiat geografia \u0219i am terminat un master. Apoi mi-am c\u0103utat slujbe \u0219i am f\u0103cut pu\u021bin voluntariat la un magazin second hand local. Dar parc\u0103 ceva nu mergea bine.<\/p>\n
Mi se p\u0103rea \u0103 nu g\u0103sesc locul potrivit \u0219i asta ori pentru locul de munc\u0103 va fi plictisitor sau f\u0103r\u0103 rost ori pentru c\u0103 eram frustrat din cauza refuzurilor din partea angajatorilor pentru joburile la care m\u0103 sim\u021beam potrivit.<\/p>\n
A\u0219a c\u0103 voiam s\u0103 v\u0103d \u0219i s\u0103 tr\u0103iesc altceva… \u0219i cred c\u0103 tot\u021bi cei care merg \u00een SEV caut\u0103 acela\u0219i lucru. Am auzit despre SEV prin intermediul unei organiza\u021bii din Belgia numit\u0103\u00a0\u201ccompagnons battisseurs\u201d (f\u0103r\u0103 vreo leg\u0103tura cu franc-masonii, am \u00eentrebat :P). \u0218i am aplicat \u0219i la astfel de proiecte pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 locurile de munc\u0103.<\/p>\n
Am vrut o organiza\u021bie \u0219i un proiect \u00eentr-o zon\u0103 rural\u0103 care s\u0103 integreze popula\u021bia din jur \u0219i care s\u0103 promoveze valorile unui trai propsper pentru to\u021bi. P\u00e2n\u0103 acum mi se pare c\u0103 am g\u0103sit-o pe cea potrivit\u0103.<\/p>\n
Este \u00eens\u0103 \u00een continuare o provocare pentru mine. O mare parte din mine vrea singur\u0103tate \u0219i timp pentru sine. \u0218i nu m\u0103 consider creativ ori extrovert. Dar vreau s\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u021b cum s\u0103 animez un grup, cum s\u0103 \u00eei implic \u0219i cum s\u0103 le transfer cuno\u0219tin\u021be \u00eentr-un mod distractiv.<\/p>\n
Imi plac tenisul, winsurfingul \u0219i drume\u021biile. De asemenea \u00eemi plac h\u0103r\u021bile, jocurile de strategie, jocurile video, filmele, poezia, filosofia \u0219i aproape tot sau to\u021bi cei care m\u0103 pot ajuta s\u0103 v\u0103d lucrurile din unghiuri \u0219i perspective diferite.<\/p>\n
